Independent Practice
This is a private page and only you have the link. No-one should be able to find it from google or my website. I will post you practice here each week so you have permanent access to it and can build up a library of practice.
Maintenance
As we progress with your speech therapy, I want to introduce some practice routines that you can use on a daily basis for the rest of your life. The first one here is about preparing your whole body to speak. This involves supporting your body and allowing yourself to relax so that you can breathe deeply and use the breath to sustain phonation (making voice) and keep voice going for longer stretches of speech (more than10 syllables per phrase) and more consecutive phrases (at the moment you manage about 3 phrases before fatigue sets in.
I hope that with support you will be able to adopt these simple techniques to keep your body ready for speech for the future.

All videos below remain relevant and you can return to any of them at any time. The most current practice will be at the top of the page.
This week I am also attaching some links to a website called 'seeing speech' where you can see a speech therapist making the sounds you are working on. This can be helpful for visualising the position of contact and movement inside your mouth, which can otherwise be very difficult to see.
